The Peerie Neuk is a brand new tiny home in Haroldswick in Unst. It was built during the winter 2021/2022.

Built using eco-friendly materials (99.99% plastic free!) and thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space, the Peerie Neuk is the perfect place to stay for an island get-away. Close to Norwick Beach and Hermaness NNR, the Peerie Neuk is an excellent base for exploring the magical island of Unst.
Facing south you wake up with a view of Balta Isle and Haroldswick. Just 15 minutes walk from Norwick beach and 5 minute drive from Hermaness NNR and a short walk from Victoria's Vintage Tearooms for a cup of tea by the sea.
The Peerie Neuk is a peaceful retreat with space indoors and out for work, yoga and meditation.
One double bed. Sofa bed suitable for two small children or one adult.
Tiny eco-home with open-plan living and sleeping space with kitchen and wood burning stove with oven. Sofa bed and dining table.
Separate toilet and shower room.
Please note that the Peerie Neuk Tiny Home has a regular hot water shower and a compost toilet.
The Peerie Neuk is a wooden shepherd's hut style tiny home, you have your own garden and patio area for barbecues and a fire-pit.
Designated parking area close to the property. There is a safe place to store your luggage and bikes in the soap workshop next door.
The tiny home isn't suitable for anyone with a mobility problem. The tiny home is accessed by steps at the front door and the bed is raised from the floor with access up two steps.

The Peerie Neuk has hot running water and a shower and compost toilet. If you’re not sure about using a compost toilet (it’s not smelly or horrible!) there is access to a proper toilet in the workshop next door.

The Peerie Neuk is just brilliant! Compact yet has everything you need. Beautiful decor and scenery. We'll definitely be back. Melanie is a great host, there whenever you need anything.
