Bumble - the perfect campervan for exploring Orkney

Beautiful conversion adapted to exploring the Orkney Islands. The ideal size for 2-3 people - small enough to be able to pitch up in quiet spots away from others whilst having plenty of room to eat and sleep. The bed is super comfortable, and the van feels super snug, with heating provided by a diesel heater. It's perfect for parking up next to a beach, eating, drinking and cosying up in summer or winter. Bumble is pet-friendly with a doggy seat belt.

The space
The camper is a Ford Transit Custom (manual gearbox) and features a super comfortable 1m90 (6 ft 6) converting bed with thick topper, pop-top roof, diesel heater, 240v on-board power/shore power, sink with tap, swivel passenger seats, large fridge/freezer, dual gas cooker, all cooking utensils, bbq, and plenty of storage space.

Guest access
The van is available for collection from Stromness. If you are coming on the Scrabster-Stromness ferry I can meet you at the ferry car park.

Other things to note
Insurance must be purchased and proof of insurance sent to myself prior to van rental period commencing.

The van is not to be taken to the Scottish mainland. If you wish to take the van to another Orkney island, please indicate this in the reservation request or after booking.

Please note, whilst Bumble is regularly serviced and well-maintained, there remains a small risk of breakdowns. As it can be difficult on Orkney to book vehicles in for repair last minute, a breakdown could have an impact on your reservation. I will do everything I can to source you another campervan or alternative accommodation, but this cannot be guaranteed. Pro-rata refunds will be applicable in the event of cancellation before or during your trip if alternatives cannot be offered.

Bumble can sleep two people downstairs and one upstairs, or the other way around. It can only transport three people including the driver.
