    Directions and Parking

If you enter our postcode into your SatNav, it will probably tell you that you have reached your destination when you get to Ruaig Farm (before the turn off at the crossroads). Ignore it and keep following the directions above. This is a small island and the whole of Ruaig and Salum share the same postcode!

If you are travelling on foot, there is unfortunately no longer a Ring and Ride Bus Service on Tiree however John Kennedy Transport offers a pre-booked private hire service. This service can be contacted on 07789551959.

Any problems, get in touch with us on 07770 873667 or email info@soacabinstiree.com and we will do our best to help you.

    BY FERRY
From the ferry terminal, turn right at the top of the pier road, then next right again. Follow the shore for approximately two miles, when the road veers inland again. After another half mile or so, turn right at the staggered crossroads, signposted Ruaig. At the end of the tarmac road, turn left over a cattle grid and you will see the cabins and carpark ahead of you.

    BY PLANE
From the airport, turn left at the end of the airport road, then left again at the next T-junction. Stay on this road for about four miles, passing through Crossapol, Baugh, Heanish and Scarinish, and past the turn off to the pier and ferry terminal. Take the next right to follow the shore. After approximately two miles, the road veers inland again. Keep going for another half mile or so, then turn right at the staggered crossroads, signposted Ruaig. At the end of the tarmac road, turn left over a cattle grid and you will see the car park and cabins ahead of you.
