Sitting Room/Kitchen- the artist owner has made an interior that is simple, unfussy but comfortable, with open-plan layout, paintings and pottery. There is seating for 4-5 people around a wood/fuel burning stove
Double Bedroom - the main bedroom is simple but comfortable, with underfloor heating, king-size bed, storage and a desk.
Sleeping Loft - the second bedroom is a cosy sleeping loft above the sitting room, with velux windows and wonderful views. Open stair not recommended for under-8s.
Bathroom - is small but the water pressure amazing for hot baths and showers after a day on the waves or walking the beaches.
FACILITIES AND SERVICES
The Broadband service is excellent; there’s an i-pod dock and collection of books and DVDs. The bus service passes the cottage, and there are grocery shops within a mile either side. There are two sit-on kayaks that guests are welcome to use at own risk. The Tiree Pottery is a few minutes’ walk away.
There is parking to the front and rear of the cottage. The back garden area of the cottage is sheltered and fenced-off , ideal for sitting out and keeping dogs and children in!
From Nightly
From the ferry, turn left at the first T-junction. Continue through Scarinish, passing the butcher, bank and Co-op on the right. The cottage is about a mile out of Scarinish, in the hamlet of Baugh. It sits to the left of the road, and has the red telephone box outside.
