Situated in the quiet village of South Dell, Ness, Croft 43 is ideally located for exploring the surrounding areas which boast of stunning white beaches, dramatic coast lines, wildlife, archaeology and the awe inspiring Butt of Lewis lighthouse. As well as these natural elements, there are cafes, hotels and 2 local shops one of which has fuel pumps, a laundrette, a play park and a Ten pin Bowling Alley. The house is well equipped with integrated kitchen appliances, dual fuel range cooker (gas and electric) and electric heating. The Library/TV/Music room has LPs, DVDs, Books and Board Games. You can connect your music via blue tooth through the integrated sound system.

Croft 43 is a Mid-century 'Board of Agriculture' built in 1970. Recently renovated which included the addition of the 1 st floor lounge/bar area, sauna, balcony and master bedroom with en-suite. It is surrounded by a private garden with private parking for two cars.
There is access to the property via a ramp. There are 2 bedrooms - 1 with walk in shower, sitting room and kitchen/dining on the ground floor.

From Stornoway, follow the signs for the North across the Barvas Moor continuing North up the West Coast of the Island. Galson is the last village before South Dell. Once you see the sign for South Dell (Dail Bho Dheas) take the 3rd junction on the left. Croft 43 is the last house on the right before you reach the corner going left further into the village.

Our third stay at Croft 43 - I guess that says it all!! Fabulous as always. Nancy and Alex have the most beautiful place to stay. Everything is thought of - real luxury. Visited Arnol Black House for the first time - well worth the visit. Until next year. Thank you as always.

What an absolute gem of a place! Pure luxury - fluffy towels, welcome hamper, 5* accommodation! We adored the Isle of Lewis and our trip to Harris. Lots of fantastic walks. Recommend The Wobbly Dog for tea and cake, Cafe Museum, Breakwater Cafe and Cross Inn for dinner. Loved all the Vinyls too! xxxx

What a stunning place! Gorgeous house with a great view - the gift basket with local goodies was a perfect welcome! Had a fantastic time exploring the local area and loved our time on Lewis and Harris. We will miss the lovely house and a sauna to wrap up the day. Thank you so much for such a memorable trip.

We've had a fantastic holiday here and the house was perfect! Was especially impressed with all the special touches; welcome pack, robes, slippers, toiletries and the Herbal Teas and Hot Chocolate! Favourite places we visited; Butt of Lewis, Callanish Stones, Breakwater Cafe. We also really enjoyed our swim in the beautiful blue, clear water at Luskentyre Beach!

We have enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week at Croft 43. The house is beautifully furnished, very comfortable with lots of little touches that make it feel like a real 'home from home'. We have enjoyed exploring the island and enjoyed two walks from the book 'The Outer Hebrides 40 Coast and Country Walks' and especially liked walking across the moorland and a swim of Bosta Beach.Stunning walks round the coastline and the Eoropaidh playpark was much enjoyed by our 12 year old. Thank you very much!

Amazing Croft 43. So well appointed and clean with everything that is needed for a great, stress free stay. The Library with all the book and LPs is so unusual, although not used too much as weather was good! Highly recommended. Thanks.
