60 Balallan, Westend Cottage is a traditional Hebridean Way cottage on the waters of Loch Erisort, Isle of Lewis. Its owner, a writer, lets the cottage out for self-catering only in the Fall months, August 15-October 31st each year. The cottage is on the main A859 cycling route from Stornoway to Tarbert, and enjoys spectacular views of the lochs and the 'Sleeping Beauty' hills. It has 3 Bedrooms; 1 bath; a full kitchen (with washer) and an open peat/coal fire for cold nights. For reservations, email ghobhainn@gmail.com to place a booking. £700/week, or £400/3-day stay.

It enjoys spectacular views of the Lewis lochs and the ‘Sleeping Beauty’ hills for bird watching and morning coffee above private gardens. One week of deep cleaning is left between each booking for safety, so spaces are limited

The house is a traditional Hebridean cottage (small entrance ways in stone) built into the local hills and unsuitable for people with disabilities.
